“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
I created this image last August in San Antonio, Texas with child model and actress Emerson Clarke. It was quite a productive shoot, creating over 10 conceptual images in one evening (many I have yet to complete and share).
We created this image in about 10 or so mins. Like I’ve mentioned before I like the art of improvisation and thus the evening, though exhausting was a whirlwind of activity.
I had no intention for this image to pay homage to Alice in Wonderland but was rather a happy accident. I found the dress at a thrift store in Virginia while shopping with my Sister-in-Law. Read More »

Over a month ago I was asked by two readers to go over levitation photography. Like any other technique, after a google search you’ll soon realize it’s no secret.
I actually learned it from a YouTube video myself and took a workshop for fun. There are basically two ways to achieve a levitation photograph, well maybe three if you practice a bit of witchcraft – eep!
Anyhow, put you camera on a tripod, set it to a supa fast shutter speed and capture the action as you jump. If that is what you are after, watch this video. I’ve actually used this method a few times but that’s not what I’m going to talk about today. Read More »
I want to take a moment to thank all of you who liked, shared, commented and/or voted for my photo
“Quiet Before the Storm”. I can’t thank you enough! There definitely should be more names added here but I’m not personally connected to all of you that supported my photo.
I tried to keep track the best I could. To those individuals who helped me win but don’t see your name listed – I thank you a million times over! Drop me a comment below, so I can thank you directly!
I want to give total recognition to my amazing family and friends who helped me win and a huge shout out to the two awesome people who pushed me to submit. That is my mommy, Miriam Aguirre and good friend and fellow photographer, Christopher O’Donnell.

“What happened was just this…”
Yesterday I shared my photograph, Twisted. This photo is one of thirteen that was created that day at the ranch in San Antonio, Texas. It was by far one of my most enjoyable shoots during my visit. It was also incredibly efficient considering we were able to get thirteen images in about a five hour period.
The first hour was miserable, as it was over 100 degrees that day. After getting three images made we decided to take a break and eat dinner. While we were eating a storm came in, and we thought the rest of the shoot would be over. To our surprise it lasted just about half an hour, and came with the blessing of cooler weather (relatively speaking) and a gorgeous overcast.
